Technical properties of PPS
High-performance plastics are characterized by their excellent performance under extreme conditions. They are therefore considered to be high-quality materials. PPS plastic is no exception to this rule. This thermoplastic polymer has very favorable properties, including resistance to high temperatures of over 200 °C.
It is also a good electrical insulator, resistant to acids and bases, and is almost insoluble in organic solvents below 200 °C. It can be used as an alternative to PEEK.
Due to the excellent properties of PPS plastic, it is often used in the electronics and automotive industries. Examples include components such as braking systems, cooling systems, seals, insulation, and more.
