The properties of Polyethermide
PEI is a translucent, or light-permeable plastic. It is an amber-colored high performance plastic with good sterilizability and high mechanical strength. In addition, it can be used over a wide temperature range, from -50 °C to constant temperatures of 175 °C and short peaks of 200 °C. What further distinguishes PEI plastic is its excellent flame resistance. This is because the material is naturally flame-extinguishing and there is little smoke production when the material is burned. In addition to these important properties, PEI has little to no moisture absorption, good electrical insulation properties and is also resistant to X and Gamma radiation.PEI Plastic
