BKB Precision & engineering go together
BKB Precision will exhibit in the ESEF for the first time. You will find our booth 01. B154 in Hall 1.
“We have deliberately chosen for a booth in this hall because we believe that we belong to the category of machining (turning and milling) activities. However, with that difference that we just machine plastics instead of metal”, says Berrie van de Burgt, Account Manager.
“The ESEF is also a good moment to present ourselves to the industry. High-quality plastics machining often includes more than one thinks: it requires craftsmanship, expertise, investment and good (chain) collaborations to get to the right products. ”
Visit our booth
For BKB, the ESEF exhibition is a good place to get aware of new developments within the industry and to get in touch with new potential customers within various segments. The market is in full swing so it is important to know which challenges companies deal with at an early stage.
Would you like to know more about BKB Precision, machining plastics or the techniques we apply for this? Then visit our booth 01. B154. We would be happy to meet you.

Big interest for PEEK
Managing Director Mannes Westhuis: “There was a lot of interest in our machining capabilities of PEEK.
This type of plastic is a perfect material for parts in vacuum environments which is usual in the Semicon. It is a compact, sturdy plastic that can be machined very accurately and which results in nce, smooth surfaces. Furthermore, the danger of outgassing is low and it gives little particle pollution. PEEK has an excellent chemical resistance to liquids.

Collaboration with partners
BKB Precision is participating in the Holland High Tech Pavilion together with a number of partners from the Business Cluster Semiconductors Netherlands. The Dutch semiconductor landscape will be on display, from chip design to market application and from production machine to chip. This showcases the strength of the Netherlands: creative collaboration between end product manufacturers and their supply chain.
The pavilion is located in hall B1 on the Allée des Clusters: B1-434. Here, BKB will be demonstrating the possibilities of high-performance plastics for the semiconductor industry.
Collaboration with Productronica
The trade fair is an ideal platform for closely following trends in technology and industry, stimulating global collaboration, and exchanging knowledge. The collaboration with Productronica embodies Semicon’s global strategy of connecting with the entire electronics supply chain.

BKB Precision and Medizin Technik Holland
This year BKB Precision will be present along with some colleagues and members of the consortium Medizin Technik Holland. Together we will represent the Dutch market.
Visit our booth D12a, meet with us and be inspired by the possibilities we offer in the field of high quality plastic machining. Innovation, knowledge, quality and accuracy are important key factors for us.
The W3 fair is a perfect time to follow new developments closely and to get in touch with new prospects.
Comprehensive program
Besides the exhibition, there is a comprehensive program with both free and paid presentations and seminars. There are also training sessions and students days with different recruitment areas. An ideal opportunity for Dutch companies to meet these market segments in Germany.

Growing need for machined plastic parts
BKB Precision is present with a booth (# 124 hall 7.2B). “The share of products we machine for the photonics industries is increasing”, says Mannes Westhuis, managing director of BKB Precision. “We see a growing need for accurate machined plastic parts, which are used in all kind of applications. Due to the characteristics of certain engineering plastics, combined with our state of art turning and milling capacity to handle complex and accurate designs, make the use of plastic parts an attractive alternative for all kind of materials.
So for us it is a logical next step to show the photonics industry who we are and what we can at the Micro Photonics in Berlin”. Beside the exhibition the supporting programme will also place an emphasis on attracting young professionals. National and regional employers will be represented in a specially organised Career Lounge where they can discuss opportunities with potential job candidates.
Joint venture exchange and conferences
At micro photonics, together with its partners, the Enterprise Europe Network Berlin-Brandenburg will be organising the international B2B Photonics Joint Venture Exchange in Europe. Visitors who register for the joint venture exchange will have an opportunity to present their new ideas, discuss joint projects and drive forward innovation with cross-border ventures.
Parallel with the trade fair the Berlin Photonics Network OpTecBB is organising two conferences: ’MOEMS system integration’ on 11 October and ’Innovative fibre optics’ on 12 October.

Presentation about product development
With our neighbour Tegema Engineering which exhibits next to our stand (D8A) we will give a presentation of product development with plastics for medical use. This also as a result of the PiB IntoMedBizz Germany, a group of 11 Dutch companies who work together with al kind of competences. This symposium will also be held at the Rittal Arena in Wetzlar, parallel to the exhibition.
Next to BKB Precision and Brainport Industries another 5 Dutch companies from the PiB will present itself at this fair.
